Job Purpose

Business Development - Channel Partnerships’ remit is to drive revenue growth by expanding the content sets currently ingested through existing channels while engaging in new partnerships to expand the uptake of ICE Data Services’ product suite. The role requires an acute understanding of the financial software vendor landscape with a preference for someone with previous experience in a similar role or at a fintech firm. The successful candidate will foster strong relationships with ICE’s channel partners, as well as work closely with ICE’s sales, account management and product management teams.

  • Expand the breadth of ICE Data Services’ products within existing channels
  • Work closely with sales to target new channels, including sales agents and software partners
  • Work closely/in partnership with the sales team for joint accounts and opportunities
  • Work closely with product management to target new channels and promote new products to existing channels
  • Work closely with account management to maintain and grow the channels’ satisfaction with ICE Data Services
  • Work together with new channels to create individualized business plans and go to market strategies
  • Exceed targets for new channel engagement and existing channels’ penetration
  • Ensure sales are fully educated on new channels and their respective value propositions
  • Work closely with marketing teams to develop promotional aspects of the relationship, such as joint events, marketing material, etc

Knowledge and Experience
  • Strong background in financial markets, all asset classes - cash and derivatives
  • Strong background in financial market data and data concepts
  • Strong understanding of current technology and future trends in financial markets
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Solid background in a similar relationship management or business development role
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal skills
