Job Purpose

The Data Analytics team is seeing a dynamic, self-motivated Data Scientist, who is able to work independently on data analysis, datamining, report development and customer requirement gathering.

Responsibilities
  • Applies data analysis and data modeling techniques, based upon a detailed understanding of the corporate information requirements, to establish, modify, or maintain data structures and their associated components
  • Participates in the development and maintenance of corporate data standards
  • Supports stakeholders and business users to define data and analytic requirements
  • Works with the business to identify additional internal and external data sources to bring into the data environment and mesh with existing data
  • Story board, create, ad publish standard reports, data visualizations, analysis and presentations
  • Develop and implement workflows using Alteryx and/or R
  • Develop and implement various operational and sales Tableau dashboards

Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelors degree in statistics/engineering/math/quantitative analytics/economics/finance or a related quantitative discipline required
  • Masters in engineering/physics/statistics/economics/math/science preferred
  • 1+ years of experience with data science techniques and real-world application experience
  • 2+ years of experience supporting the development of analytics solutions leveraging tools like Tableau Desktop and Tableau Online
  • 1+ years of experience working with SQL, developing complex SQL queries, and leveraging SQL in Tableau
  • 1+ years of experience in Alteryx, and R coding
  • Deep understanding of Data Governance and Data Modeling
  • Ability to actualize requirements
  • Advanced communication skills with the ability to summarize findings and present in a clear, concise manner to peers, management, and others
