Manager, Reference Data Operations

Job Purpose

Manages multiple operational teams in the process of data research and extraction of information from various sources, tools and documents; ensures team members are compliant when conducting data/information collection through thorough knowledge of guidelines, policies and research tools.

The role would require flexibility of occasionally working non-standard hours and working of bank holidays.

  • Demonstrates good knowledge and understanding of the business operations and can relate their contributions to others
  • Solves a variety of problems within their operational setting and provides solutions based on best practices and existing precedents
  • Frequent interaction with internal and external clients to solve business issues or inquiries
  • Impacts related Data Services teams and the effectiveness of the Data & Content management teams as well as business teams and clients that depend on this data in that region/industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advance degree preferred
  • Exercises some discretion in approach to solutions; errors may have high impact; high risk

Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advance degree preferred
  • Strong skills in the following areas:
    • Interpersonal
    • Verbal and written communications
    • PC – including Microsoft Office, internet use, e-mail applications and Remote Plus (or similar tool)
    • Detail orientation
    • Presentations
    • Supervisory
    • Leadership
