Job Purpose

ICE Data Services, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, presents multiple, unique opportunities for a full-time Sales Operations Manager to join a team responsible for supporting Sales Management and the Sales organization.  The Sales Operations Manager will support the reporting and analysis needs of Sales Management and the Sales organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with with an understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures. 

 The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for ad hoc reporting using and various internal systems as well as working closely with both Sales and the CRM development team. This role acts as an advisory role for Sales Management and will be responsible for providing technical strategy and recommendations to ensure application tools meet the business needs.  This individual will lead key project initiatives around better sales practices and efficient work flows.

  • Review and analyze current business procedures and provide recommendations on better business practices and future strategies
  • Drive adoption of SFDC and enhance current user experience
  • Ensure data quality in all SF reports
  • Research and analyze how can help improve business processes and performance
  • Research and analyze data and produce value added reporting for senior management
  • Work as a liaison with the Commissions department to ensure the Sales and Account Management teams are paid accurately.  Research and help resolve commission errors
  • Provide direct user support on SFDC. Support will include both technical use as well as business process questions
  • Lead key initiatives around Sales business processes, working with various departments and applications
  • Work closely with Sales, Production, and Billing to ensure contracts, billing setups, and production configurations are aligned to existing delivery and billing capabilities
  • Provide overall support of Sales Operations team inquiries, ad-hoc requests and projects
Knowledge and Experience
  • Effective and creative problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Very strong MS excel skills
  • Previous experience with SFDC
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments. Oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
  • Ability to be flexible with on demand reporting; database management; and organize and prioritize work
Bonus Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business related discipline
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and interact with all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and work cooperative with other individuals and across multiple business units
  • 4+ years’ experience supporting large sales force with related sales processes
  • Knowledge of financial industry, sales and marketing operation is preferred
