Job Purpose

Intercontinental Exchange has an opportunity for a Full-Time Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager in Hyderabad, India.  The Accounts Receivable Manager will have the following responsibilities:  

  • Oversee the financial collection and application of payments in accordance with company policy and regulation. 
  • Monitoring Company accounts receivable balances and cash posting reports and providing frequent status KPI updates to management. 
  • Assisting in evaluating, creating and implementing changes to improve departmental policies, procedures and controls to systems and processes.
  • Supervising staff and monitoring staff productivity including effectively allocating responsibilities, providing timely and constructive performance feedback, and ensuring service level agreements are met.  
  • Reviewing and monitoring accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness and conformance to company policies.
  • Analyze payment exceptions and liaise with customers and management to increase auto-application of payments.
  • Leverage reports and analytics to identify areas of improvement and make enhancement recommendations for collection and cash application activities.
  • Addressing and responding to escalated customer inquiries and providing a high level of customer service.
  • Act as a liaison between the India and Atlanta accounts receivable teams and participate in project-based assignments if/when necessary.

 

Knowledge and Experience

The position of Accounts Receivable Manager will have the following requirements:

  • Preference for a candidate with at least 5-7 years in an Accounts Receivable management role with managerial experience at a public company.
  • The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in business-related field.
  • Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) and High Radius Cash Application experience is a plus but not a requirement.
  • The candidate must be results-oriented and possess strong organizational skills.  
  • Strong communication and leadership skills is a must.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and have the flexibility to handle various job assignments.
  • Candidate must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
  • Proven experience adhering to daily, weekly and monthly transaction goals/targets is a must. 
  • Candidate must have strong excel skills and comfortable creating and working with V-lookups, calculations and pivot tables.
  • Experience with OCR, RPA or AI-based solutions is a plus.
