Job Purpose

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) is seeking an experienced candidate for the role of Market Data Account Manager in the NYSE Market Data group. This is a customer facing role that serve as the key liaison for the firm’s market data customers.  The candidate should have a deep understanding of the equities market data business and strong communications and analytical skills.  The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the contractual business relationships with new and existing customers to manage the customers’ subscription life cycle.

Responsibilities
  • Interact daily with an assigned group of customers to ensure that our market data commercial and compliance policies are clearly understood and are being incorporated by customers
  • Engage customers to understand their business and market data consumption to ensure the proper data subscription licensing and commercial models are in place
  • Enforce policies with customers to prevent and identify data leakage due to non-compliance
  • Manage every aspect of the life-cycle of market data licensing process from on-boarding, monthly maintenance, to account closure
  • Responsible for reviewing and vetting contractual documentations, as well as handling inquiries regarding product, billing, policies and reporting
  • Manage ad hoc projects, analyze customer activity involving product and spend analysis
  • Identify business work flow and process improvement opportunities
  • Accurately and effectively communicate in team meetings and to executive management
  • Liaise with various internal teams (technology, finance, legal) to advance market data’s agenda across businesses
Knowledge and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required
  • An understanding of the market data industry is critically important. Experience in the vendor space is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional poise, judgment and the ability to constantly learn from and adapt to the marketplace
  • Detail oriented, with strong organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking skills
  • Intellectually curious self-starter who can work both autonomously and in a team environment
  • Proven ability to execute projects and maintain customer relationships
  • Fluency with Microsoft products; e.g. Excel, PowerPoint
