The New York Stock Exchange presents a unique opportunity to join the International Capital Markets team.  This individual will be responsible for helping support NYSE’s efforts to attract leading companies from outside the U.S. to list on the NYSE markets. The ideal candidate will bring or be able to quickly build C-level relationships with issuers, banks, venture capital firms, private equity companies, and industry associations.  The successful candidate will help further raise the profile of the NYSE outside the U.S., articulating our unique value proposition to a variety of internal and external stakeholders, resulting in increased market share among high quality companies seeking to tap the U.S. capital markets.

  • Work with the NYSE leadership team to analyze and quantify listings opportunities outside the U.S., and devise strategies for generating awareness of and a pipeline for the NYSE
  • Meticulous management and communication of multi-stage sales pipeline
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders including lawyers, bankers and other professionals to ensure smooth and successful execution of transactions.
  • Engage with C-level executives at issuing companies, communicating the NYSE value proposition and serving as resource for company leadership on matters related to public markets.
  • Host senior executives and other leaders for network building events, at the NYSE as well as strategic locales globally.
  • Provide support, training, and mentorship to junior members of the team.

Knowledge and Experience
  • 10+ years’ experience in finance (investment banking, venture capital), consulting, or high-level sales
  • 5+ years' experience with IPO pipeline and key intermediaries covering non-U.S. markets
  • Strong relationships with C-level executives of potential candidates for an initial public offering in U.S. listing.
  • Creative thinker with exceptional attention to detail
  • Capable to work within strict deadlines in a time critical environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent presentation skills
  • Proactive, proven leader and team player
  • Fluency in English and any additional languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Italian)
  • Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree and/or industry certification preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with MS Office and with Salesforce (CRM) software
