Job Purpose

The Product Specialist will work with the technology & data sales team to position ICE as the market leader in providing analytical, Trading & Sales Tools, Risk Management software solutions as well as market data. Typical customers are Exotic & Vanilla Options Traders, Heads of Derivatives’ Sales Teams, Sales Traders, Risk Departments, Middle Offices, Portfolio Managers, HFAs/Custodians, Accountants, Corporations and Corporate Treasurers.

Responsibilities
  • Positioning, demonstrating, and providing support for ICE products and services to selected accounts located in EMEA. The overall objective is to grow revenue in order to ensure ICE maintains a dominant position in their respective markets
  • Working with different sales teams to identify opportunities and deliver added-value solutions to our clients in order to enhance their business
  • Product and market specialist in the Derivatives/Exotic Options Markets, with the ability to represent ICE at senior levels in the market
  • Provide critical feedback to product management on product enhancements
  • Deliver high-level strategy presentations to key decision makers of the financial industry on ICE products, services and technologies
  • Market and Product Training internally and to clients on a continuous basis
  • Maintain clear records of activity including CRM, meeting and call reports, service requests, monthly objectives and yearly goals
Knowledge and Experience
  • Good knowledge in at least one of the following derivatives markets: Equities, Interest Rates, Commodities, Foreign Exchange, Credit Derivatives and Fixed Income
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in financial institutions as traders/sales/brokers/risk
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Economics / Financial Mathematics / Business Administration
  • Strong communication, relationship building and presentation skills
  • Excellent networking ability - Must be capable of working through people without formal reporting lines at all levels of the internal organization and the client environment
  • Ability to perform tasks in parallel in a dynamic environment and under time constraints
  • Self-learning ability
  • Travel abroad – on average 1 week/month
  • Fluent English – A MUST. Any other European language - an advantage
