Job Purpose

ICE Data Services a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, presents multiple, unique opportunities for a full-time Regional Sales Executive (RSE) to join a team responsible for managing a set list of clients on a US/EMEA basis across ICE Data Service’s Pricing & Analytics Business. The RSE will work with the Global Relationship Manager and account management colleagues to assure global coordination with ICE Data Services largest relationships.  The RSE will be responsible for growing and maintaining revenue within their territory across Pricing & Analytics.

This role is ideally suited to a self-motivated individual who relishes being at the forefront of business activities and thrives on their own successes and those of the team. A strong communicator with a solid technical background and good knowledge of the market data and trading environment from a content, technology and networking perspective is required.   We seek someone with polished sales, pipeline management, territory management and closing skills who is highly motivated with the ability to think on their feet, from both a business and technical perspective.


Responsibilities

  • Exceed annual sales quota
  • Exceed annual revenue retention
  • Manage territory and work closely with other members of the relationship team to identify and close new opportunities along with maintaining current revenue
  • Managed and develop strong client relationships
  • Work closely with the others outside of sales to provide feedback on any client, prospect or partner requirements
  • Daily CRM and pipeline management



Knowledge and Experience
  • Sales experience with a focus on financial markets (specifically market data) and ability to consistently exceed individual sales quota
  • Knowledge of accounting, trading, compliance, risk and post trade portfolio valuation uses cases
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Competent CRM-Salesforce skills
  • Proficient in pipeline management and forecasting
  • Solid negotiation skills
  • Solid track record of high close ratio
  • Previous experience working within a data/software vendor, exchange or trading firm
